June 28, 2012 – Read our paper on flood management using Radarsat-2

Effigis, the Canadian Space Agency and Public Safety Canada prepared a paper for the 33rd Canadian Symposium on Remote Sensing that took place in Ottawa in June 2012.

The paper outlines how using Radarsat-2 satellite images helped to manage more efficiently the emergency plan following the 2011 flooding of the Richelieu River in Quebec.
