November 18,  2014, Montreal, QC—Effigis Geo-Solutions Inc., a leader in geospatial solutions, is proud to announce that the new version 2.0 of the mobile CPAT application, a solution dedicated to the operators of the cable distribution network, is available free of charge for download in the App Store.

Version 2.0 of the mobile CPAT application has a new module called “Events” for consulting and updating the status of an event. In addition, it allows to select based on proximity, to consult and to modify an event, among other things.

The new mobile version 2.0 is an optimized version of the map and list of events found on the ‘’Event Info’’ tab of the CPAT Web application.

The mobile application also manages real-time ingress monitoring (RIM), which is an enhanced version of Web RIM. The addition of the “Events” module therefore enhances the CPAT mobile offering, thereby enabling operators to better manage their operations remotely.

Version 2.0 of the mobile CPAT application will also be available on Google Play (Android) over the next few weeks.

CPAT is a modular mobile monitoring system that uses GPS-based technologies to help the operators of the cable distribution network, improve the efficiency of their fleet operation and system plant maintenance. One of the main components of the system is the CPAT server, which allows to manage all functions, such as RF leakage and penetration monitoring in real time.
