Executives

Denis Parrot
President
Having earned a degree in surveying and mapping from Université Laval in 1981, Denis began his career working in those fields around the world for five years. He then completed graduate studies in Fredericton, New Brunswick, where he earned a master’s in satellite geodesy. With a passion for his area of expertise, Denis has been involved since 1991 in a host of projects that employ geospatial information to meet the specific needs of various markets and users. Denis currently supervises administrative and financial services as well as GNSS development activities of Effigis.

Claude Levasseur
Senior Vice-President – Geospatial & Asset Management
Claude develops large-scale infrastructure management programs based on geospatial technologies applied to fields such as cable, telecommunications and power distribution. At Effigis, Claude leads the Geospatial & Asset Management division, where he develops the growth strategy for the Canadian market, including for our British Columbia office. He is also responsible for the company’s ISO 9001 system. In 2016, he was awarded the Gaia Prize from the Canadian Institute of Geomatics in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the field of geomatics in Quebec. Claude is a member of the Ordre des arpenteurs-géomètres du Québec and director, Quebec Region, of Professional Surveyors Canada.

Caroline Pilon
Vice-President - Finance and Administration
Caroline has a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a specialization in finance, from HEC Montréal, and is a Certified Management Accountant in the Ordre des CMA. Backed by 13 years of experience in the information technology and consulting sectors, Caroline joined Effigis in 2011. Her previous jobs have given her extensive experience in the implementation of financial systems and internal controls and in corporate acquisitions and sales. Caroline manages the Finance and Administration Department for Effigis.

Mike Honeyman
Vice-President, Business Development, Western Canada – Geospatial & Asset Management
Mike began his career with a forestry and natural resource consulting company in 1991. His experience brought him to a successful career with a growing power line construction company, where he was integral in developing a power line condition assessment program for their major clients. Mike then started a power line design, engineering and project management consulting business with Kerry Morris, namely Honeyman Morris Inc. After the acquisition of their company by Effigis in April of 2019, Mike took on the role of Vice-President, Business Development for the Western Canada branch of our Geospatial & Asset Management Division. In this capacity, Mike continues to develop relationships with existing clients in British Columbia and cultivate new clients across Western Canada.

Mark Ericson
Vice-President, Business Development
As Vice-President, Business Development for CPAT FLEX products, Mark is responsible for the leadership of the CPAT FLEX Product sales team, developing new business opportunities and participating in the creation of customized solutions to meet customer needs. Mark is a well-known figure in the CATV industry with 20 years of experience. In the early to mid-2000 he was instrumental in starting and growing ECAM group. Within the industry, he has also held Sales and Business Development positions with Tyco, Andrew (Comscope) and Alpha Technologies. He holds a masters’ degree in technology management from Mercer University.

Daniel Robillard
Vice-President, Business Development
Daniel Robillard is a senior executive with over 20 years of experience in operational and strategic roles with network operators, Canadian service providers and information technology companies.
Prior to joining Effigis, Daniel was Senior Vice President – Connectivity Division at Telecon where he led, among other things, the creation of Telecon Enterprise, a Canadian leader in network infrastructure.
An energetic leader who values authenticity and diversity in his business relationships, Daniel continues to help colleagues and friends as a coach and mentor for start-up companies in the telecommunications and technology sectors.
His favorite quote: “The goal is not to be perfect at the end. The goal is to be better today.”
Dan holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal and an M.B.A. from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
Directors

Christian Nadeau
Executive Director – Earth Observation
Christian has nearly 20 years of experience in the field of Earth observation. With Effigis since January 2019 as Senior Director – Earth Observation, he brings knowledge and expertise in several fields of application, including geology, agriculture, energy, maritime transport, and natural resources. He has worked mainly in the private sector, but also in the academic and government sectors. Christian strongly believes that collaboration and building lasting relationships are the foundation of trusted business relationships. He studied at Université de Sherbrooke, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a Master’s degree in Geography with a specialization in Remote Sensing.

Manon Blackburn
Operations Director – Geospatial & Asset Management
Manon has a B.Sc. in geomatics from Université Laval. She has been involved since 2000 in the design and use of geographic information systems applied to, among other areas, surveys of public service network infrastructures. Backed by her experience on large projects in that field, she is responsible for monitoring and developing processes and supervising operations. Over the years, she has built up solid experience in data processing and management by having, among other activities, implemented a geographic information system applied to project management.

Raffaele Ciarla
Director, Sales and Customer Support
Ralph is an experienced global sales and marketing professional with a long history of working in the telecommunications industry. He is skilled in channel partner management, customer service, sales, business development, customer relationship management, and customer satisfaction. In his capacity of Director at Effigis, Ralph ensures that clients experience the highest level of satisfaction. He manages internal and external sales, directs customer service and support functions, and contributes to planning CPAT FLEX marketing activities. He is a graduate in Business Management from Concordia University.

Denis Gervais
Engineering Director
Denis is a civil engineer who graduated from École Polytechnique de Montréal (UdeM). Since 1991, he has contributed to the growth of Effigis by carrying out innovative projects based on automated processing and validation processes. Since July 2000, as Engineering Director of the Products Division, he manages the orientation, development and production of the various CPAT modules, an embedded monitoring solution for radiation and capture in cable networks. In addition, Denis coordinates the maintenance and improvement activities of the company’s ISO 9001 quality management system.

Kerry Morris
Administrative Manager – Geospatial & Asset Management
Kerry earned a degree in Zoology from the University of Alberta in 1990. She began her career in neurophysiology research, but soon realized that this was not her passion and switched her career path to field studies. She then worked as an aquatic biologist in the East Kootenay area of British Columbia, where she did surveying using GIS in forestry and fish applications. Later on, building on her expertise in GIS, Kerry started a powerline design and engineering consulting business, namely Honeyman Morris Inc. in Kimberley, British Columbia, together with Mike Honeyman. Their business was acquired by Effigis in April of 2019. Kerry is now the Administrative Manager of the British Columbia office for our Geospatial & Asset Management Division.
