Sales Representative – Earth Observation



The Sales Representative’s primary focus is the sale of aerial photography image products and derived information for the Earth Observation (EO) division. This person will have the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to after-sales service, in accordance with the EO division’s sales process
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external clients and suppliers
  • Collaborate with sales colleagues on certain opportunities
  • Convey client needs and market information to the Director of Sales and Business Development, and to other colleagues, as needed
  • Propose solutions to clients’ issues and needs
  • Track and update sales activities using an ERP/CRM (experience with SAP an asset)
  • Purchase products related to client orders
  • Follow up with internal and external suppliers in the event of client satisfaction issues and ensure a solution is provided (Tier 1 support)
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures and regulations, including corporate ISO 9001 standards
  • Demonstrate proficiency with the main MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Experience

  • Over 7 years’ experience in sales of technological products and services
  • Proven experience in opening new markets and developing new clients
  • Proven experience in B2B and B2G sales with large client organizations

Education

  • Diploma, certificate or training in sales
  • Diploma or certificate in a technical or scientific discipline, an asset
